Hollywood – the magic town of movie studios. There are many studios, but only one unique enough to be in a class by itself. That, of course, is the Disney Studio. For the Disney Studio is the only "film factory" which is distinguished by a quality that is as personal as it is creative.
One cannot create a Garbo, a Muni, a Durbin. But a Donald Duck and a Mickey Mouse are another matter. To the people of this studio, these "stars" are the figments of their own imagination, products of their own sketching pencils. The very character of this ardently interested group of people behind the scenes at the studio is in fact, reflected in their screen stars.
Walt Disney's gang comprises twelve hundred of the strongest individualists in Hollywood – or anywhere, for that matter – and having 'em together under one roof is really something! Just ask Walt!
As a matter of fact, there are only about two people in the whole Disney Studio that even look like the average person's conception of an artist.
