Jack M. Watson was a professor at the University of Cincinnati College —Conservatory of Music and had been a friend of Disney composer, Leigh Harline.
Dear Mr. Ross:
Much as I'd like to, I'm afraid I can be of little or no assistance to you. While I was in Hollywood from July of 1934 until September of 1939 and worked in most of the studios, I did nothing for Disney during the period and had no opportunity to become acquainted with Leigh Harline. His second wife, Ann, was a close friend of my wife’s, but as I remember, Leigh and Ann did not marry until the early 1940s.
