Letter to Ross Care

I scribbled this out as quickly as possible since I’m squeezed for time.
Dear Mr. Care,
I have very little recollection of what I said in my letter to you. However, I must have explained that my personal view of Walt was something no one else could interpret properly, and only I should write it.
Yes, I did do a great amount of work on a Disney book, but after giving it much thought, decided it might be considered sour grapes by the reading public, and also damage my image as a children’s book author. You can’t kick Santa Claus in the ass and get away with it.
