JOE GRANT: The thing that I can pass down to them is [Walt’s] method of working, which was you’d have to plan Friday what we were doing Saturday and Sunday for personal enjoyment, but keep in mind what you’re doing twenty-four hours a day, seven days week. That’s the way he was. Everywhere we went we talked story, we talked ideas. It wasn’t as though you blotted everything out in life, but it’s like you’d put it in the back of your mind, and when you weren’t doing anything bring it forward to think about it, you know what I mean? And that method I’ve used all my life. Even all in the group that were there in the old days was using pretty much that method.
