Key clean-up artist and animator Dale Oliver worked closely for two decades with the best, including Eric Larson and Frank Thomas. Oliver’s exacting attention to detail in his clean-up work on Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, and Jungle Book, among other films, was widely admired by his peers and deeply appreciated by Larson and Thomas. Candid, warm-hearted and talkative, Oliver was found by John Canemaker to be a wonderful source of intimate detail about life in the trenches in the legendary “D” wing of the Disney Animation building.
