[John Carl Nater's] first job with Disney was as a messenger boy, beginning on September 21, 1937. He had several jobs around the Studio over the next few years (including Production Coordinator of Military Educational Films during WWII), and during this period developed a deep interest in audio-visual education, seeing Disney’s potential in this new area.
