Woolie Reitherman: Phil Dike and Don Graham were starting the art school when I arrived. We had action classes. They would run newsreels of football and horse races. [We tried to answer the question] “How do things move?” We studied the principles of gravity, physics, inertia. There were informal sessions with all joining in. We had a feeling of discovery.
