Bob Thomas: I interviewed Walt many times over the years, from about 1944 until his death, and the most memorable occasion was when Disneyland was being built and he wanted me to drive with him from the Studio to the Disneyland area, which was very primitive at that time. So we got into his convertible at the Studio. Not all the freeway was finished at that time. And he talked incessantly, which was great, because he was a great talker.
