Ron Clements and John Musker
Clay Kaytis
It is obvious that when fifty years from now historians will look back at the New Golden Age of Disney animation, which reached its peak between 1989 and 1994, a few names will always appear in their texts: Jeffrey Katzenberg on the executive side, Andreas Deja and Glen Keane on the artistic side, and Ron Clements and John Musker as far as movie direction is concerned. Is it any wonder that all the artists that we mentioned in this list learned their trade directly from Walt’s people, carrying on the flame for generations to come? Clay Kaytis’ in-depth interview with Ron and Jon proves that is not.
