This week, as I continue to seek to highlight some of the incredible creatives at the Disney Company, we turn once again to Imagineering, and former Imagineer Josh Shipley. He shares not just his journey from a young age to Cast Member and eventual Imagineer, but his experiences in a variety of roles and disciplines at Walt Disney Imagineering. Josh discusses some of the many projects he worked on for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Hong Kong, and Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, as well as his time working on various projects in the theme parks for Marvel. We also talk about LOST, Lincoln, Star Wars, Joe Rohde, Tony Baxter, Star Wars... and a few concepts that never came to be! Josh also share guidance for those looking to seek their own path to Imagineering, valuable lessons learned, and his predictions not just for what's ahead for Marvel in the Disney Parks, but fascinating insight into the future of themed entertainment.
