The Walt Disney theme parks are wonderful worlds. But the developers of these fantasylands do not have the powers of divine influence and their creation formula calls for more than seven days.
Walt Disney Imagineering of Glendale, Calif., a division of the Walt Disney Company, is in charge of developing and maintaining all of the Disney theme parks, including Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., Disneyworld in Orlando, Fla., Tokyo Disneyland, and the soon to be built European Disneyland in Paris.
Imagineering houses one of the most creative and technologically advanced development centers in the world. Here artists, script writers, architects, engineers, special effects professionals, and others combine forces to conceptualize, construct, and command what kids from 10-100 often refer to as the eighth, ninth, and tenth wonders of the world.
