With Plans for Expansion and new Attractions, Disneyland President Jack Lindquist opens the Door for the Disney Decade
Jack Lindquist, the newly crowned ruler of the Maqic Kingdom, looks like a Disney cartoon come to life.
He's short and girthy, and his face is a jolly jumble of moving circles. Add a small chin, large, round glasses and happy, sparkeling eyes, and you'd swear you were staring at a prototype of one of Snow White's seven dwarfs.
But Lindquits isn't Happy or Sneezy or Doc, he's the new president of Disneyland, and he carries a weightly load of experience - 36 years of working at Orange County's top tourist attraction.
Lindquist became Disneyland's first-ever president last November. His job is to lead the park's 8,000 employees (or "castmembers" as they're called) and direct "The Happiest Place on Earth" into the future.
