Janet Martin

What does a rabbit act like when he gets twitter-pated in the springtime? What is the difference in personality between a squirrel and a chipmunk? Exactly what emotions does a young buck have when he sees his chosen mate being lured away by a rival? Knowing the ins and outs of such matters is the task of the artists in Walt Disney's studios. How much these talented men have to know about our animal friends is vividly illustrated in Disney's latest full-length picture based on Felix Sedten's memorable romance of the forest, Bambi. Although animals have always been an important part of the charm of Disney films, the producer himself feels that the animals of Bambi represent the highest achievement of his staff.
