It was then that the American Iron and Steel Institute approached Walt Disney with the idea of pooling their respective talents in a motion picture enterprise that would make the industry known to non-steel people.
Well, Disney and his Duck agreed. Why not? They already had a long and spectacularly successful history of interpreting difficult subjects so that any viewer could understand them. And, that's how a duck became a steelworker.
