ED BLACK, the Youngstown (Ohio) radio newsman whose articles have appeared from time to time in CARTOONIST PROfiles, took a number of photos, several years ago, of the locations of past and present Walt Disney studios in Los Angeles. Black climbed a steep, dry-grassed hill to take the shot of the old Hyperion location, from the same vantage point from which the 1931 photo was taken. Nostalgic photos from the past were supplied by the Walt Disney Archives and group shot identifications were provided by noted Disney animator, Ward Kimball.
