Hired by Roy Disney in 1962 as assistant treasurer for the company, Michael Lawson Bagnall rose to become Executive Vice President for Finance. He helped establish a model benefits and retirement program at Disney and arranged financing for Florida's Disney World and Epcot Center.
He retired in 1985 and passed away in December 1998, at age 67.
