That, of course, is the Disney Studio. For the Disney Studio is the only “film factory” which is distinguished by a quality that is as personal as it is creative. One cannot create a Garbo, a Muni, a Durbin. But a Donald Duck and a Mickey Mouse are another matter. To the people of this studio, these “stars” are the figments of their own imagination, products of their own sketching pencils. The very character of this ardently interested group of people behind the scenes at the studio is, in fact, reflected in their screen stars. [...]
