Phyllis Lambertson-Jacobsen was one of the members of Disney’s Special Effects Department in the early 1940s.
In the mid-1990s Phyllis wrote an autobiography. The excerpt that appears here is thanks to the kindness of her children, son Nils and daughter Karen, who initially shared this document with Disney historian Jake Friedman.
