Known for being the voice of Eeyore, Ralph Waldo Wright was born in Grant’s Pass, Oregon on May 17, 1908, and worked as a story artist for Disney from December 1938 to 1945, from 1950 to 1958 and again from 1966 to 1971. From 1946 to 1949, he had a stint working with Dave Hand at Rank’s British Cookham studio.
He passed away of a heart attack on December 31, 1983.
This interview, conducted at his home in Los Osos, California, by Milton Gray for Michael Barrier, is the only in-depth one known to exist.
