Like other American homes, the home of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck went to war. From the Disney Studios poured training films for the Armed Forces and animated cartoons prodding and instructing the homefront. Out of these strikingly successful efforts has come a new impetus for the use of animated cartoons as an educational device in peacetime.
